1. There are hydrocycles with prop or blade thrusters. These hydrocycles are produced by hundreds of companies and are sold in hundreds of thousand items. Our hydrocycle with a fin thruster is really innovative. One of its advantages is that neither nets, nor algae are wrapped around its fin.

2.  There is a catamaran with a fin thruster produced in Canada by the  Sea Jogger Systems Inc. (see the photo)

 

This  hydrocycle has two versions. Their cost is 1500$ and 2500$. It is more advanced than the existing ones. However, it also has a serious drawback – a cyclist has to stand all the time. It is only in this position that he can steer a fin thruster. In the result, he is tired soon.

     In the hydrocycle we offer, a cyclist is sitting and in this position he can either steer a fin thruster or have a rest. Food and drinks can be placed at a tray fixed at the steering wheel. This hydrocycle is designed for two persons.

         Technical characteristics

A hydrocycle in the form of a catamaran with rubber pontoons. It is moved with the use of an oscillating wing steered by legs through pedal gear. It is a twin-sitter. This hydrocycle is steered with the use of a rudder and a underwater wing.  A food and drinks tray is fixed at a rudder. Size: height - 1 m, width - 0.7 m, length - 3 m.

Speed - 3-6 km/hour.

It can be transported at a car roof rack or in a trailer.

There is a wide range of various hydrocycles with solid pontoons and prop and blade thrusters.  

The hydrocycle we have developed is highly original. Its fin thruster is absolutely safe for divers and algae and fishers’ nets are not wound around it.

        Purpose:

         1. Recreational attraction for parks, beaches, rest houses, etc. (a hydrocycle with rubber pontoons is ill-suited for parks and hiring, so we offer its version with plastic pontoons).
